Lacey Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) Senior Female in Fort Lauderdale, Florida

My story
FOSTER NEEDED : Lacey is in need of a compassionate, quiet home because a shelter is no place for a blind, deaf senior dog. Lacey, a 20lb terrier mix, was adopted from APR in 2017 by our devoted volunteer who has to move into assisted living and cannot bring Lacey with her. Giving up Lacey is breaking our volunteer’s heart as she has been an animal welfare advocate her entire life and never imagined she would have to give her up beloved pet. Lacey is friendly with other dogs and cats, but will bump into them because she’s blind. She walks well on a leash and has a healthy appetite. Lacey has occasional accidents in the house, which are minimized by going outside regularly. This sweet teddy bear just needs a calm home to nap and enjoy her golden years. APR will continue to provide medical care at the shelter and supplies. To foster Lacey, email us at info@abandonedpetrescue.org or complete the adoption application at abandonedpetrescue.orgTo meet this adoptable pet, please fill out an adoption application at and a team member will contact you to schedule an appointment.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Lacey, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
