She has been completely refit from top to bottom with newly rebuilt, late model, higher horsepower engines, barrier coated hull with grey, white and red Awl-Grip paint and much more. The owner hand picked the yard and has overseen the project from the beginning 2 1/2 years ago. His knowledge gained from years of boat building under his own company Renaissance Yacht in which he built internationally acclaimed yachts like the 92' sail yacht "Whitehawk" and the 90' "Whitefin". This 46 Bertram was selected to be restored because of its traditional yet contemporary, elegant, American design. For all intensive purposes she is now a new yacht. The 46 Bertram Motor Yacht is regarded as one of the best offshore cruising yachts ever built in it's size range. The hull design and construction are both rugged and sea-kindly, built to a level that will compete with and is likely better constructed than million dollar yachts in this size range.
